Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager of Business Travel Sales - Hilton Mid-Atlantic Cluster is responsible for representing the hotel''s services and facilities to prospective clients and customers who require year round/seasonal hotel guestroom rate agreements. Travels primarily outside the hotel to initiate new sales, solicit leads, hold presentations for clients and creates sales proposals.

This position with sell (16) Hilton properties in the mid-Atlantic area. Exposure or experience in Business Travel Sales in hotels.  

What will I be doing?

As a Area Sales Manager of Business Travel Sales focusing on business travel sales you would be responsible for representing the hotel''s services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel''s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Focus on qualifying new local negotiated business travel accounts via outside calls, prospect calling, attending trade shows and industry events with the exception of key national accounts. This included negotiating contracts and agreements with 3rd party and FIT partners.
  • Generate leads for business travel accounts.
  • Participate in industry related organizations, and local community to develop business.

  • Assist in daily customer relations

  • Conduct site inspections and entertain clients on property as needed.

  • Support in daily office management, including but not limited to sales meetings and daily business review.
