Sobre mí

Hi! My name is Ana Clara Vida and I'm a Hotelier.
I am from Brazil and extremely passionate about Guest Services and Hospitality and, above all, making people happy.
My biggest goal is to find my place as a leader at a hotel where I can share my knowledge and experience gained through out the last few years, improving a specific department and team, always aiming at exceeding our guest's expectations. To make sure the team has the information and tools needed to do the job and that the guest feels like the property is their home away from home.
My main focus is on the Rooms Division (Guest Relations/Front Desk/Concierge) areas.

I am extremely flexible (destination, job length and hours wise).

-Past experiences:
I've done two internships at two hotels in Gramado, Brazil. Food and beverage and hostess assistant at Varanda das Bromélias Boutique Hotel, and front desk and housekeeping assistant at Hotel Saint Andrews.
On November 2016 I got the chance to do a International Cultural Exchange Program at Walt Disney World's Wilderness Lodge Resort. I was a bell services dispatcher during the three months of the program.
After graduation (July 2017), I was in Abu Dhabi, at the Marriott’s St. Regis Resort in Saadiyat Island as a Concierge Intern for six months.
From April 2018 to April 2019 I participated in the J1 Rooms Division Program at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts (operated by Marriott). The one-year program included working at Recreation, Guest Services & Front Desk.
I went back to St. Regis Saadiyat Island Concierge team in July 2019 and stayed until October, when I had the chance to come back to Brazil and be an Assistant Manager at the 12 room inn in Maresias, Pousada Pé da Mata.
I've been here in Maresias since October, working not only as an Assistant Manager overseeing Front Desk, Guest Services, Reservations and Social Media/Marketing.
Throughout COVID-19, we were temporarily closed for 3 months but now we are open and following a very strict Safety Protocol - continuing to make our guests happy and, most of all, safe.


-Education:
• Hotel Management bachelor's degree from Castelli Escola Superior de Hotelaria, located in Canela, Brazil
• American Hospitality Academy - Hospitality Profissional online course
