I consider myself a Passionate Hotelier & Restaurateur having worked at top notch Hotels and Restaurants in Europe, South Asia, Middle East & Africa within the Food & Beverage Department.
Starting as a banquets, restaurant and room service stagiaire to managing and also owning a restaurant leading to hospitality consulting, food & beverage manger for a boutique hotel, trainer and most recently hospitality instructor at Hashoo School of Hospitality Management affiliate of Sheffield Hallam University UK (Pre opening) teaching Food and Beverage Modules.
One of my biggest accomplishments was when I managed to boost both sales and profit up to 40 % in a Sub Continental themed Restaurant making it a success story after a year. Studying the market, reducing the food cost by making it to 29% , advertising and introducing the restaurant concept was the key to the success.
On the top of this, I was able to lead complete Restaurant team front & back of the house.
I realized that with the backing of my Swiss & American hospitality management education, work experience and exposure of working in different countries has assisted me in developing good management and leadership skills driven by my curiosity to learn.
Renowned Italian artist Michelangelo is one of my inspirational personalities who at the age of 80 said, “I am still learning.”

Hashoo School of Hospitality Management (Pre-Opening) Affiliate of Sheffield Hallam University UK. Instructor Significant Achievements • Compiling and Submitting the required documentation and successfully registering the School with the government body National Training Bureau NTB • Assisted with making various policy manuals & documents for the school and documenting them by taking minutes of the meeting and approvals. • Assisted in developing the school website www.hshm.com.pk , brochures, letter heads and art work. Duties • Teaching Food & Beverage Modules i.e. Management of Food & Beverage Operations and Global Food Drink & Society. • Conducting Teaching & Training Sessions on Food & Beverage management and soft skills for associates at 7 Five Star Hashoo Hotels across Pakistan.
Reporting to the owner of the hotel, I managed the entire Food & Beverage Department for a 45 Rooms Boutique Hotel, 1 Conference Room, 1 Banquet hall accommodating 100, A Restaurant and Pool Bar with private access to the beach. Significant Achievements • Developed and implemented new breakfast, room service, alacarte, cocktail & snacks menu. Introduced happy hour and enhanced alcoholic beverage sales by 35 %. Reduced food cost to 31% from 39%. • Developed & implemented Front and Back of the house manual and sop. • Introduced new crockery and cutlery and updated overall restaurant setup. • Rebuild a broken Food & Beverage team managing them hands on, managing by example and providing continuous training to 35 associates from Front and Back of the house, training based on lobster ink the learning platform for the hospitality industry.
