Reservations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced individual to join our team as a Hotel Reservations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the hotel's reservations department, ensuring efficient and effective operations, collaboration and communication. Your primary objective will be to ensure smooth day-to-day reservations operations by leading the team of agents, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will seek to maximize room occupancy and revenue by implementing strategic reservation policies and procedures.

What you will be doing:

    ·         Develop and implement effective reservation strategies to optimize room occupancy and revenue.

·         Monitor and analyze reservation trends, market conditions, and competitor strategies to make data-driven decisions.

·         Establish and maintain relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs), corporate clients, and other booking channels to maximize hotel exposure.

·         Manage the hotel's inventory and allocation across various distribution channels, ensuring availability and accurate pricing.

·         Oversee the reservation process, ensuring accuracy of bookings, room assignments, and guest information.

·         Train, mentor, and supervise reservation agents, providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.

·         Implement and maintain reservation systems and software, ensuring seamless integration with other hotel systems.

·         Resolve guest inquiries, concerns, or disputes related to reservations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

·         Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop promotional offers, packages, and pricing strategies to drive bookings.

·         Generate reports and analysis on reservation performance, occupancy rates, and revenue to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.

·         Stay updated with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in reservations management.

      

Your experience and skills include:

·         Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).

·         Proven experience in hotel reservations management, with a strong understanding of reservation systems, distribution channels, and revenue management.

·         Excellent knowledge of online booking platforms, GDS systems, and OTAs.

·         Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

·         Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, team members, and external partners.

·         Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and inspire a team.

·         Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time management skills.

·         Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·         Proficient in using reservation software and Microsoft Office suite.
