As Rooms Division Manager at Mercure Penrith, you'll love the opportunity to obsess over the guest experience, improve service standards and drive profitability. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the front office, reservations, housekeeping (agency), maintenance, and food and beverage. 

Located at the foot of the mountains, Mercure Penrith is at the gateway to Western Sydney. Mercure Penrith's 222 rooms are designed to be an urban oasis. We aim to inspire guests, bring passion and curiosity, and perform at our best as a team. The opportunities are limitless. 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Achieve targets for Rooms & F&B profit and productivity, Loyalty, Reputation Performance Score, guest feedback responses, and employee engagement
  • Assist with coverage of Duty Manager Shifts as required
  • Lead, support, and mentor a team of 14 direct reports
  • Respond to guest feedback and implement changes to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Activate the loyalty experience, and drive loyalty engagement and enrolments.

All About You

  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role with proven success
  • Exceptional people leadership and team development skills
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required. Also available to work shifts to assist with Front Office Roster.
  • Before commencement, prepare to obtain an NSW RSA Competency card and First Aid Certificate.
