Job Description
  • Maximizing opportunities and revenue within the leisure transient (FIT) and Group market
  • Work towards agreed monthly and annual sales KPI’s
  • RFP management, contracting and rate negotiation
  • Strategically manage a portfolio of accounts - existing and new
  • Assist in the animation and development of new business through research and qualifying of leads.
  • Identifying need periods and adapting strategy and promotional campaigns accordingly.
  • Ensure that KPI's in relation to appointments, activities & account development are recorded and met in line with objectives set.
  • Work with the Director of Sales & Reservations Manager on the hotel daily group management strategy
  • To provide market & competitor intelligence.
  • Play an active part and contribute in all Sales/Commercial meetings.
  • Assist with the creation and execution of marketing activities, fam trips, site visits and any other client related interactions.
  • Attend trade show and events domestically or internationally as defined on market segment action plan.


Work Experience
  • Minimum two years experience in a pro- active sales role within the hotel industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills - a strong team player
  • Ability to work on several projects at one time
  • Customer focused
  • Understand how to prepare & deliver Account Development Plans
  • Experience in the following systems desirable: Opera, Delphi FDC, Lanyon/Cvent
  • Fluent in English - spoken & written.
