Our Kitchen team are looking for a Team Player to work in our Marco Pierre White Kitchen as a Sous Chef.

What does the job of Sous Chef entail?


As a valued member in our Kitchen team we are looking for a Sous Chef with a passion for food and has an eye for detail who has experience working in a busy Kitchen environment. Our Kitchen serves high volumes of food, and we want a Sous Chef who has delivered high quality food throughout their career.


The Sous Chef will be

* responsible for assisting in overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and you will be managing and motivating a professional brigade, ensuring that ongoing training and development is offered to all members of the team

* Have solid people management and kitchen management skills are essential along with a stable background

* Be a creative and talented Sous Chef with exceptionally high standards who can assist in leading the team by example and inspire them

* Have the passion and ability to maintain the standards in the kitchen

* Responsible for cooking delicious food following the recipes of Marco and his team.

* Be able to place orders, complete Rotas, process invoices for payment

* Cover and Run the Kitchen in the absence of the head Chef


 Together with your team and the Front of House Players, you ensure that guests do not forget their experience at Marco Pierre Whites New York Italian restaurant. . 


Someone else would describe you as a foodie with human knowledge, a distinct personality and someone who can work in a structured way. And, not entirely unimportant; you work different shifts as we are open from 6am for Breakfast thought to 11pm for Dinner. The work pattern would be various shifts between this times so you can organize your free time flexibly!


In short: You take care of your guests and your colleagues thought fantastic food. 


The New York Italian Restaurant is a fusion between Italian and American flavours as it is in the name and you will deliver food for breakfast, lunch, afternoon and or dinner. The restaurant is open long hours and we commit to deliver food that Marco himself would be impressed with.

Work Experience
  • Experience and Passion for Cooking
  • Ability to work in a fast paced Kitchen
  • Experience in Team Management
  • Be able to place orders, complete Rotas, process invoices for payment
  • Knowledge of Food Safety
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety in a Kitchen
