A fantastic opportunity has arisen as Luggage Porter/Doorman at the Baglioni Hotel London on a full-time basis. We are currently looking to recruit a passionate, enthusiastic and guest orientated individual to join our Concierge team.
Reporting to the Head Concierge, the Luggage Porter/Doorman responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following tasks and performances:
- To offer consistent, high standard service and assistance to Guests and to maintain a lobby presence that offers courteous and attentive service;
- To proactively welcome all guests at the main entrance, taking particular note of repeat guests/VIP arrivals, relieving them of their luggage and guiding them to the reception desk;
- To ensure that all our guests receive fast, efficient and friendly service;
- To deliver guest luggage and packages and record the details in a correct manner;
- To handle and park guest cars, record and charge the guest in a correct manner;
- To ensure our internal Baglioni and LQA standards are respected.
The successful Luggage Porter/Doorman will:
- Be committed to respond to guest requests and deliver high level of service.
- Have previous experience in the Hotel Industry and experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Be passionate about customer satisfaction and endeavour to create the perfect customer experience.
- Have excellent grooming standards.
- Have a positive can-do attitude and excellent team player.
- Be fluent in English is essential; other languages would be of benefit.
- Have knowledge of the surrounding area and London, amenities, facilities and attractions would be preferred.
- Have full UK Driving License issued more than 2 years ago.
- Be aged 21 or over due to the motor Insurance policy of the hotel.

Our Group was created in 1974, when Roberto Polito built his first establishment in Punta Ala, Tuscany (Hotel Cala del Porto), working with his wife Lisa to develop a unique concept of hospitality in terms of life experience: a journey in the Italian style through its culture and various traditions.
With this in mind, we developed a Collection which currently counts 8 exclusive hotels and 1 resort mainly located in period buildings in the historical centres of Europe’s major cities of art.
