We're looking for a strategic, creative, and ambitious Head of Marketing to join our Growth team. Reporting to the COO, you'll be responsible for devising and executing an effective cross-channel marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and market penetration across the UK and other territories. This is an opportunity for someone to really shape the marketing strategy and set-up your own team to deliver on this.

What you'll be doing:

Responsibilities

  • Strategy  - Plan, develop and execute an effective cross-channel marketing strategy, working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure strategy is in line with business and commercial objectives.
  • Budgets  - define and manage budgets, KPIs and channel CPLs according to business targets.
  • Brand  - own the evolution of the Feedr brand, supporting the graphic design process, ensuring all external facing assets are in line with the Feedr brand.
  • Partnerships  - lead Feedr’s partnerships strategy, including brand partnership opportunities, events and influencer activity.
  • Content  - work closely with the brand marketer to create and implement an effective content strategy across blog, email, social and sales assets to drive brand awareness, lead generation and conversions.
  • Digital  - have a strong understanding of key digital channels, with a focus on SEO, email marketing and LinkedIn. Work closely with the digital marketer to drive an effective and efficient digital marketing strategy across Search, Display and Social channels.
  • PR  - define and oversee the PR strategy to deliver supportive PR content.
  • Reporting  - have strong Google Analytics and excel competency to report on full funnel performance and activity ROI.
  • Team management  - set-up the marketing team your way in addition to managing an existing team of direct reports, including a brand marketer, digital marketer and graphic designer, as well as agencies when needed.
  • Stakeholder management  - work closely with key stakeholders at Compass Group on strategic projects and to ensure alignment across strategy and messaging.
  • Cross-functional collaboration  - work closely with the Sales, Account Management and Vendor team to ensure alignment across teams, projects and workstreams.
  • CRM  - experience managing email campaigns within a B2B CRM platform, such as Hubspot.
  • Market knowledge  - constantly looking for new and creative ways to drive brand awareness and market penetration.
Requirements
  • A performance-driven and goal-oriented professional with extensive growth marketing experience across online and offline channels.
  • A minimum of 6 years experience working within a marketing team at a leading fast growth business.
  • Strong left & right brain - we’re looking for someone with a creative flair but also passionate about testing, measurement and iteration to improve results continuously.
  • Expert at managing projects and multiple workstreams, with great attention to detail.
  • Skilled stakeholder manager with strong business acumen and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Previous experience in B2B marketing and clearly understands the nuances of B2B marketing tactics.
  • Line management experience - someone looking to take on a management role within a collaborative marketing team of in-house and external resources.
  • A clear understanding of full funnel marketing strategies to drive leads and optimise conversion rates.
  • Confident with marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, Adwords, Hubspot and Mailchimp.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of digital marketing channels - either through working within a digital role or managing an agency.
  • A strong interest in joining a small, fast growth team, which is a key sector within a larger enterprise organisation.
  • An interest in food and wellbeing is a plus.
