Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Kitchen/Laundry Repair Technician to join our team. In this position, you will respond to calls from Kitchen/Laundry HODs that require repairs on Kitchen/Laundry equipment/appliances.
Responsibilities
Identify the cause of the problems on the faulty appliances.
· Disassemble and reassemble appliances.
· Diagnose and replace faulty parts.
· Explain to the Kitchen/Laundry HODs or operators how to use appliances properly.
· Install large appliances, such as washers, ovens and dishwashers.
· Perform maintenance work on appliances.
· Provide rough estimates to the Maintenance Manager on costs required to repair damaged or malfunctioning appliances.
· Keep track records of repairs status on each appliance.
· Identify parts references for replacement and follow up on the ordering process.
· Maintain an accurate record of all items/parts used to repair, replace, or maintain appliances.
