Group Operations Success Trainee

This position is part of the Group Operations Success team. This team serves as the link between all operational departments of the hotel (front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, etc.) and is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the smooth execution of events such as seminars, cocktails, dinners,.. as well as group room bookings.


Your mission :
-You're supporting the Meeting & Events operational team
-You'll assist the Meeting & Events Operational team in their day-to-day administration tasks and pre- and post-event organization
-You'll spend 70% of your time on pre- &post-event administration. 30% of your time will be dedicated to check if all the client's requests have been met (meeting room set up, timings, last minute changes,...)
-Ensure that all client requirements have been confirmed and that these details are accurately and thoroughly communicated in time to the hotel operation team
-Ensure effective and productive coordination and service delivery with AV supplier
-Ensure regular client contact when meetings+events are in-house through Daily Meetings
-Debrief and ensure that all hotel operational details are executed correctly
-Ensure correct and accurate billing and confirm with client upon conclusion of event
-Follow up with client to obtain event feedback and identify further business opportunities
-You may also spend some time in banqueting department, assisting the banqueting team in their daily tasks such as preparing the coffee breaks, lunches,...

About you :

You have excellent communications skills, written and oral proficiency in English. A good knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus. We want you to know to be results-driven but also being customer relationship oriented. You are able to provide solutions, work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
You're a team player, your are willing to learn and you can adapt easily to changes.
Last but not least, you have a keen eye for detail and you can manage several tasks at the same time.
