What We Expect:
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet each guest immediately and acknowledge others waiting. Offer a warm and engaging “welcome” or “welcome back”.
- Create a sense of recognition to each guest by using the guest's name in a natural manner
- Provide a personalized registration, for example by referencing previous visits or pre-arranged bookings. Receptionists will create a sense of expectation by immediately assuring guests that "your room is ready" or “we have been expecting you” ; delivering all pre-arrival messages and faxes; confirming all pre-arrival requests and providing written confirmation of appointments and bookings, if any
- The receptionist will actively greet guests, smile, make eye contact and speak clearly in a friendly manner
- Quickly and genuinely process guest check ins and outs within Four Seasons standards.
- Communicate all relevant guest and group activity to proper internal parties.
- Run daily reports.
- Take incoming reservation calls.
- Assist hotel guests with itineraries and or recommendations for dining and activities.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 1-2 years previous Front Desk / front line Guest Service experience in a fast paced Hotel operation
- Additional languages are a definite asset for career growth
- Completion of Post Secondary Education in Hospitality or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to adapt based on needs of the guest.
- Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
