Your Job:

The Pastry Chef de Partie facilitates the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service as well as:

- Trains, motivates, and supervises the work of the pastry kitchen employees ensuring that all cultural and core standards are met;

- Operates, maintains and properly cleans kitchen equipment

- Assists in driving menu development and changes staying consistent with the kitchen concept.

Who We Look For:

An ideal candidate will have a high school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience. Minimum two years culinary or related work experience. Advanced culinary knowledge is expected for this position. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job. Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill. Proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.
