What will I be doing?
The Manager Property Technology Services Franchise Initiatives (PTSFI) is responsible for performing the tasks necessary to complete Enterprise Initiatives as assigned by department leadership. More specifically, you will:

  • Assist with enterprise initiatives
  • Develop vulnerability remediation and options
  • Develop franchise technology services offering for hotels, including the scope of services, funding & allocation model, contractor/service provider relationships, and marketing plan
  • Establish white-glove service (ex: remediation alternatives with franchise operators), communication of standards (ex: revisions of technology standards), and communication of end-of-life (EOL) remediation requirements
  • Implement root cause analysis (ex: investigating chronic issues)
  • Identify and prioritize monetary impacts (ex: communicating expenditure impact resulting from vulnerability remediation options)
  • Coordinate activities to resolve SCCM issues impacting vulnerability remediation
  • React to unexpected security issues by developing vital scripts to address vulnerability remediation
  • Regular check-ins with Owner Relations (review friction points and provide solutions)
  • Implement initiatives through the standard methodology from project approval through deployment
  • Run scripts on hotel infrastructure as instructed to affect the completion of enterprise initiatives
  • Work with hotel technology and operations resources to perform remotely monitored tasks such as EOL hardware removal and PCI evidence gathering
  • Define and implement operating standards
  • Resolve incidents and problems
  • Ensure all Hilton security standards are met through the execution of enterprise initiatives and remediations
  • Review data to ascertain which hotels have products reaching EOL over the next seven years
  • Define the economic impact of each EOL product
  • Communicate overall requirement to remediate all EOL products by EOL dates
  • Provide General Managers guidance and reply to their emails related to published Annual IT Forecast Guides
  • Tracking and reporting for regions and technology leadership on remediation status across the estate and against critical metrics

What are we looking for?
We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Science or equivalent experience and/or certifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems
  • Experience with understanding, administering, and remotely implementing automated scripts built with tools such as VB Script or Powershell
  • Experience with Microsoft Office/Office 365 tools such as Word, Excel as well as MS SQL and Power BI
  • Ability to communicate professionally with hotels, ownerships, and internal constituents at varying levels of the organization and differing abilities
  • Ability to evaluate data and operational issues to prioritize tasks as needed to lessen risk and operational impact from vulnerabilities
  • Ability to develop operating department, hotel capital, and hotel operating expenditure guidance
  • Extensive knowledge of franchise standards for 3rd party technology systems and franchise estate
  • Understanding of global cultures and flexibility to work across global time-zones
  • Ability to produce objective metrics on team productivity
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data via Excel / SQL or other tools and identify and prioritize the course of action for the team
  • Ability to read, administer and run PowerShell scripts
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations
  • Ability to assist hotel operators through the lifecycle of issues by addressing escalations as they arise including logging into hotel servers and checking credentials as vital
  • Ability to reimage client devices with Hilton standard image/build

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience in technology or a related field
  • Three (3) years of leadership, managerial or supervisory experience
  • Travel from time to time, both domestic and international

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Nine (9) + years of professional experience in technology or a related field
  • Four (4) + years of professional experience in Hotel Operations or a related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office/Office 365 tools such as Word, Excel as well as MS SQL and Power BI
