The Hotel

Overview of Position

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and coordinating support for the Account Director(s) handling Sales and Marketing activity. The Sales Coordinator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist Account Director(s) to create and distribute regular sales kits and direct mailings that highlight services and amenities, special promotions, and unique selling points of the hotel.
  • Assist Account Director(s) by handling sales correspondence and inquiries.
  • File correspondence and documents according to agreed system (Delphi) and maintain trace system up to date.
  • Contact clients on behalf of Account Director(s) and serve as a representation of the department in the manager’s absence.
  • Generate client contracts under the direction of Account Director(s).
  • Coordinate reservations, amenities, and proposals for VIP clients when needed. 


The Sales Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Commercial Strategy.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Have excellent communication and organization skills.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and guest service skills

• Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation. 
• Able to work together with other colleagues.
• Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming.
• Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
• Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest.
• Able to handle guest requests in a detailed manner.
