Role Overview

The Regional Manager, West Coast Events is responsible for communicating and implementing large-scale, high-end event communication initiatives throughout the North America West Coast Region. Projects include VVIP dinners, cocktails, evening conversations, catering animations around key moments.

In this role you will collaborate with corporate and retail teams to provide the highest level of support across all types of network activations while always ensuring the Maison's image and communications strategies are met.  You will manage all aspects of event planning from event conception/development, contracting/negotiating with vendors, and overseeing entire event production.

The ideal candidate must have experience in planning and implementing special large-scale events and/or proven background of project management. They thrive in high-pressure settings, have a great sense of urgency, are decisive and act with grace. They possess the expertise, passion and are always in search of excellence through the project planning process. They must have a strong understanding of luxury retail and have the ability to be agile, propose creative ideas, problem solve and prioritize workload in a high demand environment.

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a significant role in planning all aspects of corporate and local strategic events at the boutique level such as VVIP dinners, luncheons, cocktail parties, evening conversations and special animations.
  • Build and maintain an active communication calendar of programs, events, and ROI
  • Assist in the development of event concepts and implement from start to finish components including décor, catering, entertainment, models, animations, etc.
  • Incorporate feedback from all key internal stakeholders throughout the development process
  • On-site event management
  • Manage production agencies and vendors to ensure execution in line with the Maison’s guidelines, strategic objectives, and budget
  • Contract and negotiate with vendors to ensure best pricing, maximum performance, and completion of all legal documents
  • Develop network of trusted vendors and partners in key markets
  • Create and monitor budgets for network programs and maintain on a monthly basis
  • Gather, submit, review, and approve invoices
  • Nurture relationships with Regional Directors and boutique leadership to ensure successful execution of events locally
  • Present event concepts and collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure that events are successful from a 360 standpoint
  • Compile event recaps and apply best practices and learnings to enhance future projects


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years managing events and/or hospitality in the Luxury/Jewelry sector
  • Excellent communication skills and self-motivation
  • Proactive, flexible, innovative, and passionate individual that can anticipate boutique needs
  • Proven ability to prioritize while handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Keen eye for detail and organization skills
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time, both domestically and internationally
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours
  • Individual with the potential of future development within the Maison
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows environment, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop a plus
  • French Language skills a plus
