As an Assistant Director of Spa you are responsible to assist the Spa Manager with the daily operation of the Spa and your role will include key responsibilities such as:
• Assist in evaluating and selecting of new spa therapy employees
• Supervise the Spa Therapists and the treatments provided within the spa
• Liaise with spa team and deal with queries in a professional and effective manner
• Responsible for appraisals and trade testing of spa therapy employees
• Manage and supervise all Spa Therapy administration work, like contact and correspondence to guests, creating reports for Spa Manager, preparation and confirmation of spa services to all guests, stock ordering and stock control, promotions and marketing of spa therapies, etc.
• Ensure that the spa operation follows SOP guidelines and regulations
• Manage all customer complaints and supervise all spa therapy incentive schemes
• Provide usage reports on therapy services
• Control the stock and inventory for spa products and consumable
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally have a degree in the physiotherapy / spa field with previous supervisory experience, preferably within a five star international hotel. You must also have fluency in both written and spoken English and positively contribute to sales activities along with the ability to solve problems effectively. Computer knowledge is a must.
