Job Summary

The Guest Relations Manager is responsible and accountable for the Guest Relations Department overall operation, facilitating and coordinating the activities of the different shifts and sections of the desk for smooth and efficient flow in all transactions focused towards individual guest satisfaction. Must Focus on lobby presence and guest arrival (warm welcome), making sure they enjoy their stay and giving them a fond Farwell.

The Guest Relations Manager provides guest services as well as supervision, direction, and leadership in the Guest Relations Department in accordance with the objectives, performance, consistency and quality standards established by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.

Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Guest Relations Manager to ensure that proper systems are in place throughout the department and that all quality standards are being maintained.

Disciplinary Procedures
Meetings on a monthly basis
Product Knowledge
Any function deemed necessary by the EAM Rooms and Front Office Manager.

Sobre ti

Proven work experience as a Guest Relations Manager, Hotel Manager or similar role.
Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Customer service drives with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
Leadership skills along with the ability to motivate a team into high performance.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation.
BSc degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or relevant field.
