an opportunity for an experienced General Manager to join The Fox, Twickenham
General Manager – The Fox, Twickenham
Salary - £38,000 - £45,000 p.a. DOE
The Fox is in the heart of Church Street in Twickenham near the River Thames close to the train and bus stations, with Twickenham Stadium within walking distance.
Church street has a Mediterranean feel with lots of small coffee shops on a pedestrian street. This beautiful pub has a lovely courtyard with its own garden bar and its own bar too, a pavement license that provides outside seating, so guest can take in the wonderful atmosphere of Church Street.
Inside you’ll find a traditional bar area with a modern twist designed well to flex between dinking and dining, in addition we also have a small VIP or Private Room
This wonderful site is a Stonegate hero and delivers record daily sales on rugby days with the hallowed Twickenham Stadium & The Stoop within walking distance. The fox would be a fantastic appointment for anyone that loves rugby, live music, craft beer and has a passion for delivering great food and excellent customer service.
Our Area Manager Jo Probert is looking to recruit an experienced General Manager to work with that has extremely high operational standards. As General manager you will be able to demonstrate success in a similar style business, coupled with the ability to manage the “Big Match” record sales days.
You will be passionate about developing and guiding your team to achieve the best results possible, so you will be able to demonstrate how you have previously managed, developed, recognised, and rewarded the teams you have managed. The Fox has a full management both FOH & BOH that are extremal well regarded and are starts of the future!
As part of our Town Pub & Kitchen format, our General Manager have autonomy within the business to show their creative flair when it comes to sales building. Jo would love to work collaboratively with a General Manager who will create a weekly diary of events both food & drink related that will give local residence a reason to visit.
In a nutshell, Jo is looking for a General Manager with great ideas, comfortable showing and driving sport (not just football), a strategic planner who can execute the big rugby days to ensure maximum efficiency and profit. Whilst ensuring the business is running efficiently, profitably, and always Safe & Legal
As a General Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.
We require all our General Managers to hold a Personal License
