Carolin Marks, a graduate of IUBH in Bonn, moved to Hamburg from Berlin to work as a Bar Manager at the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski. Since settling in, she has no plans of leaving. hosco had the chance to take a tour of Germany’s second largest city, and with Carolin in charge, it was easy to see that there’s lots to love about Hamburg. Carolin says that the only downside of the port city is the unpredictable weather—but, when the weather is nice, there’s lots to take advantage of. Lakes, parks, the old town, as well as a modern and thriving business area mean that the city offers something to almost everyone. Listen in as Carolin shares her tips for shopping, eating, partying, and enjoying a day off in Hamburg.
