Dominique Grandjonc General Manager at Novotel Cergy Pontoise

Dominique describes himself as an “Accor dinosaur” as he has dedicated for over 25 years to the company! Immediately after graduating, he joined the group and set out to fine tune every aspect of his career which has ultimately enabled him to put his personal touch in over 10 hotels under the Accor brand and reach his current position as a General Manager of the Novotel Cergy Pontoise.

What is one of your favourite innovations that Accor has implemented?
A spectacular innovation has been the implementation of the Accor Académie, an internal training center with a variety of programs focused on employee enhancement. “Whether you are 20 or 50 years old, you always want to learn and to improve yourself, and Accor gives you the opportunity.”

How do you see the hospitality industry transforming in the future?
Being part of Accor has allowed Dominique to have a significant impact on transforming the future of the hospitality industry which is extremely fulfilling for him, “we don't need any more managers in hotels, we need leaders who are inspiring and who like to help.”
