Job Description

The Restaurant Manager will lead from the front, inspire and motivate the team to achieve high levels of service while maintaining a positive culture and an enjoyable work environment. With a proven record of team building and leadership, you will display a balanced, approachable style of management while working with all departments and team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.   

Reporting directly to the Porter House Manager, a strong understanding of financials with a proven record in achieving budgetary targets and KPI’s is required. Responsibilities will include managing all day-to-day operational duties of the restaurant as well as using your extensive experience and knowledge to train and develop team members to reach their full potential and ensure the provision of premium unpretentious service.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a restaurant manager role
  • Understanding of revenue and budgeting 
  • Proven experience meeting KPI targets
  • A high standard of customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and result driven
  • Dedicated to train and develop staff
  • Possess excellent leadership and team player qualities
  • Exceptional time management 
  • Work well under pressure
  • Well presented
  • POS knowledge - Simphony preferable
  • Intermediate-advanced computer literacy
  • Excellent food and wine knowledge
  • Bar experience advantageous
  • Current NSW RSA essential
