The Northern Europe (NE) Astore team is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and promoting its products and services in 32 Countries, including UK, BeNeLux, DACH, Poland, Hungary and Rumania.

In the last few years, the Procurement team has placed the digital transformation in its top priorities, aiming to support the internal team from sourcing to selling, and to ease the entire procurement process of our Accor hotels and non-Accor partners.

Job Description

For our European Procurement-team we are looking for an Intern (m/f/d), who will support our team for the purchasing of services. ASTORE our procurement service – powered by Accor Procurement – is responsible for the Purchasing of all goods and services in Europe. You will be part of a multinational team, with the opportunity, to gain deeper insights and first hands-on experience in the world of procurement.

The position will be full-time, for 6 – 12 months and located in our Munich-head office.

What are your main tasks?

• You will support our Procurement-team in their day-to-day activities, with a focus on services for our hotels in the region (e.g. laundry services, bedding and hotel textiles)
• In addition, you will independently take on various projects, in market research supplier audits, eProcurement, catalogue management and more
• You will support our team on supplier- and contract management
• You will collaborate on the further digitization of our systems and processes within Procurement
• In this context, you will collaborate on continuously optimizing our supplier base in the region

Qualifications

Your experiences and skills include:

• You are currently enrolled in a university or similar institution
• You have basic knowledge in Excel and are confident in the use of the other MS Office-applications
• A high affinity for numbers as well as analytical thinking are some of your core strengths
• You are a team player and enjoy working as part of an multinational team
• You are able to show initiative
• You enjoy working on and learning about new topics
• You are fluent in English, ideally also in German
