We are looking for a smart, dynamic, and energetic marketer who is passionate about quickly growing their skills in developing and bring to life engaging, on-brand, social media-first content ideas and campaigns that stem directly from our organic content strategy and serve to inspire, engage, inform and excite EF Educational Tours’ audiences. This role is for someone who views no assignment as too big or too small, an entrepreneur who can live up to our value that “nothing is impossible.”

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate, create, schedule, and post content across all social media channels
  • Assist the Social Media Manager with monitoring, escalating (when necessary), and responding to comments and messages across all social platforms

Requirements :

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in social media, community management, brand marketing, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of the type of content that drives engagement on social media channels and the ability to help others shape content that gets traction on these channels
  • Proven knowledge of and hands-on experience working with a wide range of social media channels
  • Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills (and the ability to adapt to a brand tone of voice)
  • Excellent research and fact checking skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain journalistic standards across all social media content
  • Ability to collect, analyze and report on social media statistics and respond to them against KPIs
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills—proven ability to work under strict deadlines and keep up with the always-on churn of social media activity
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (i.e. Hootsuite, Later, Falcon, etc.) is a plus but not required
  • Must be willing and able to work some weekends and off hours

The Ideal candidate will:

  • Be highly tuned into the news cycle, social media trends, cultural moments and viral content (and put forward ways of capitalizing on this knowledge)
  • Have the ability to strategically prioritize the social media activities that will have the most impact on the business
  • Be a creative thinker and highly motivated
  • Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a large team
  • Have an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to jump in and “get your hands dirty”
