  • Starting wage: CAN$24.07 / hour (wages reviewed at 6- and 12-months’ employment)

Above ability of math recipes and conversations of altitude change
Understands and works by Baker’s Percentages
Knowledge of mixing techniques for various sponges, breads, mousses, etc.
Ability to work with chocolate and sugar, wedding cakes
Ability to develop new recipes and seasonal approach
Understanding of plated dessert composition
Excellent knowledge of international ingredients to make substitutions when necessary
Knowledge of sanitation and food handling
Attention to detail
Excellent management of time, Multitasking
Ability to teach in all aspects of pastry for new team
Good communication skills in both verbal and written
Monitor inventory and costs
Ability to make decisions and work with all other departments involves in event executions
