Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a talented Chef de Rang to join our Italian restaurant CottoCrudo. 

About the Job

The stylish Italian restaurant and bar CottoCrudo has a unique view on the Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge. CottoCrudo means “cooked and raw” and introduces a dining and lounge concept where classic service meets the innovative trends. 

About You 

As an ideal candidate, you are able to provide an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. You will describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item. You will need to anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Prepare and present bills accurately and perform all duties related to restaurant closing shifts. Greet and seat guests in a professional manner and make reservations conforming to Four Seasons standards. 

Assist in setting and clearing tables neatly, rapidly and completely according to specification. Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations. Support F&B operations in other outlets if needed. 

Qualifications in detail: 

  • A minimum of one year service experience in a fine dining restaurant

  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request 

  • Proactivity and a teamwork approach are required 

  • A high level of beverage and food knowledge 

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. AM & PM shifts for 8,5 hours, working 5 days per week 

  • Working-computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, Internet and Micros.

  • Fluency in English, Czech language is an advantage

  • Must have EU work authorization 

What to Expect 

This position is offered for a definite period of time of 12 months with a possible unlimited extension based on your performance. Your trial period will be 3 months.
