This position would suit an experienced Chef who is looking for a high degree of flexibility in their working hours. This may be because you are developing your own project, juggling small children or other caring responsibilities or because you would like to work less towards the end of your professional career. The hours will vary on a weekly basis. Most of our catering is for groups of 20 to 150 but we also provide lunches and dinners to small groups when required. At present our requirement is for around 10 hours a week but this will increase over time.


We are seeking a versatile Chef to develop and expand our current F&B offer. The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing mainly simple and sometimes elaborate menus catering to a professional clientele with regular vegan and vegetarian requirements. You will be responsible for menu planning, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food preparation, presentation, and compliance with AFSCA rules.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute innovative menus that suit the Full Circle vibe and audience highlighting fresh, local and where possible, organic ingredients

- Ensure adherence to AFSCA regulations and all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

- Effective inventory control, budgeting, and cost management.

- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure cleanliness and organisation of all work areas.

- Supervise and mentor additional kitchen staff, providing training and guidance on food preparation and presentation techniques.

À propos de vous

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.

- Relevant certification preferred but not essential.

- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient pairings.

- Proven certification and knowledge of AFSCA rules and food safety regulations.

- Compassionate and supportive team management skills.

- Ability to organise work to fit into the hours available
