We are looking for a Lead Lifeguard to join the Pools Team!


The Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria Resort features seven pools to include the Saguaro Pool, a sophisticated adults-only pool providing a refreshing oasis featuring romantic alcoves and chic Cabanas. The Paradise Pool which is the main family pool designed for both water babies old and new now features a wild ride down three water slides as well as luxurious cabanas and live entertainment.  


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years previous experience as a lifeguard, 1 year experience in a Team Lead or Supervisory role is preferred (leading a team of up to 10 people).   Current active lifeguard certification as well as certifications in both CPR, First Aid and must be able to meet the required pre-requisites to be able to obtain Shallow Water Lifeguard Certification is essential.   


You will have outstanding attention to detail, excellent planning and organization skills, proven ability in upskilling and developing others as well as a passion for creating memorable experiences for our guests.

What will I be doing?

Responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of the lifeguard team in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and safety. Observes guests utilizing the pool slide and performs designated rescue practices as needed to ensure guest safety according to local, state and federal health and safety regulations.
