Floor Supervisor/ Responsable de Salle

À propos du poste

You will need to have experience and competence from similar positions, with the understanding food and beverage service. You will be responsible of either breakfast and lunch shift or evening shift. The team size per shift is from 2- 6 persons, depending on the day and shift. You will be taking reservation, orders and making sure we have a smooth operation. Duties include morning opening and evening closing procedures with end of the day cash register closing. We expect that you have some earlier competence from supervisor roles and have leadership skills. You will also be involved in planning of weekly work shifts and taking care of mainly beverage orders. You need to be interested in outdoor life and understand the needs of summer clients. Our staff team is very international with 12 different nationalities, actually very similar to our clients. As a team member you need to have experience of working in an international environment with many tasks on your table at the same time.
During summer months we also serve outside lunch and dinner time.
We require good food & beverage skills. Working hours are from 07-15 or 11.30-17.00 or 17-23.00, usually a mix of days and evenings, with 2 days off. We can adjust the working hours to your needs.
We will provide you with full training before you start.
This position can also be full time position all year round

In supervisor role you need to take decisions and action to lead your team.
You need to be a team worker and flexible, but at the same time find solutions independently
During some periods of the summer season, the restaurant can be busy and you need to have previous experience of busy restaurant work.
Language skills are important as our clients come all over the world.
You need to be good or average in spoken English and French. All other language skills are of course of value.
We use VEGA hotel system, also in restaurant and bar, so previous experience from Vega or similar restaurant system is very good to have.
You need to have a working permit for EU/France and fully vaccinated.
