We have an exciting opportunity to join the Kitchen team as a Demi Chef de Partie at one of London’s most anticipated restaurant openings of the year, The Aubrey. 

Opening in early 2022, The Aubrey will be a Japanese Izakaya & Bar concept with 122 covers and a private dining room serving lunch, dinner and late night drinks. Our menu will feature classic dishes from Japanese cuisine, in interpretations that adapt and change with the seasons.

The restaurant is being created as a partnership between Maximal Concepts and Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. Maximal Concepts is a Hong Kong-based company that has since expanded to locations including Singapore, Las Vegas and Vancouver. 

We are looking for creative and passionate Demi Chef de Partie's to deliver the ultimate elevated culinary experience. You will have a love for Japanese cuisine and techniques and be looking for a kitchen that challenges you. No two days are ever the same, you will work alongside the industry’s best and with fine, fresh and seasonal produce. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, along with a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. We are looking for chefs who are flexible, have a passion for cooking and showcase exceptional service standards. About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Demi Chef de Partie who will be able to delight our guests. They will have experience with Japanese cooking, especially with Robata and Grill. They will be precise and immaculate, have a desire to innovate and be creative. To be successful in this role, you will work well in a team and be able to maintain a high level of professionalism, as well as be available to work during our opening hours.
