Working alongside a passionate and enthusiastic team, we seek a Sous Chef to lead and coach a dedicated team and ensure high quality is maintained.

Key accountabilities

  • Manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimizing waste, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction and address budgetary concerns
  • Assists Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef with menu implementation, creation, and promotions according to annual marketing plans
  • Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
  • Fosters positive thinking and motivation within all Food and Beverage Kitchens by giving active assistance and advice on more effective ways of running the kitchens
  • Relates guests’ comments, positive or negative to the Executive Chef and takes proper actions
  • Maintains good communication with other Food and Beverage section heads, kitchen staff, and other departments


General requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role 
  • Professional experience in top-tier five stars hotels
  • Extensive technical knowledge and current culinary trends
  • Experience in working and supervising a team of cooks 
  • Excellent time management, highly adaptable, naturally positive
