VP, MARKETING - MONTBLANC, NEW YORK

Primary Responsibilities: 

Significant marketing experience, either in a luxury brand (watch, jewelry, fashion) or a premium consumer brand (hard goods, cosmetics, etc.). They will have worked in a consumer facing company ideally with own retail stores, an ecommerce platform and some wholesale distribution. Candidates should have significant exposure to modern brand-building and marketing techniques, including print, digital and social media, strong knowledge in PR, direct response and events. Demonstrated success in multiple companies with a consistent track record of business building as a result of his/her marketing acumen is a must.

A passion for luxury products and with that quality, service and consumer satisfaction. S/he has developed analytical skills while demonstrating a high level of creativity and broad thinking. The candidate will be a rounded executive with broad skill sets and experience to manage complexity. They will be a decisive, compelling leader who can build and motivate the marketing team and inspire the sales organization through exciting programs to higher levels of performance. The person has a result oriented leadership style, feels comfortable in dealing with a demanding organization, and is skillful in prioritization. The person has a high level of integrity, with great judgment and a high emotional I.Q. The individual has demonstrated perseverance and tenacity to overcome obstacle and remain a positive leader under stress.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the marketing plan for North America
    • Develop the brand image in terms of brand reputation and relevance.
    • Support both, annual targets as well long-term objectives, thereby capitalizing on the investments made. Align the plan with the global strategic objectives.
    • Manage effective launch of new products into the territory through the marketing functions and category development
  • Formulate marketing strategies based on business objective and consumer insight & landscape
  • Steer marketing campaigns on an annual basis including hero model launch, special pilot project and measure efficiency consistently with industry benchmark
  • Proactively work with cross departments ( RT, WS,EC mainly ) and build go-to-market actions, understand business challenges and opportunities and turn implication into actions
  • Lead agencies ( content, media, social, PR ) to develop 360 integrated marketing campaigns for hero model launch, to create impact and enhance brand equity
  • Have clear vision of digital/social, drive it to a new level in terms of quantity and quality; be bold to explore the pilot projects and build successful story by working closely with key eco-system partners
  • Drive CRM strategy and projects in strong collaboration with related stakeholders to drive sales, client retention and new client recruitment in a creative manner
  • Drive VM strategy in strong partnership with related sales channels
  • Lead a team including communication, PR& events, digital, social & CRM. Coach the team to drive operation excellence and develop individual for career plan
  • Monitor A&P with finance and team lead on regular basis, to reach precision and efficiency


Job Requirements:

  • University graduate or above, major in Business/Marketing or equivalent
  • Min 15 years solid marketing communication experiences with focus on digital and social
  • Strong commercial marketing sense and be insightful on consumer understanding
  • Strategic thinking with creative mindset
  • Strong Interpersonal & communication skills, proactive and self challenger.
  • Experience in complex organization, multichannel / multicategories
  • Experience within global brand is a MUST
  • Experience/knowledge of USA preferable.
  • Strong PR / CRM / VM background are a plus.
