Newly opened 100 Queen's Gate Hotel London, Curio Collection by Hilton is currently recruiting for Assistant Front Office Manager to join our family.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to make a real impact towards guest overall experience, under an international renowned brand. Boasting a prime location in the prestigious West End area. With a ‘Yes, I Can’ attitude, such opportunity will be the right move for an individual who is naturally people orientated. Working together with the Front Office Manager you will assess, evaluate, and ensure that long and short-term goals of the Front Office department are met.

You will also monitor the Front Office team members and ensure that all guests receive a prompt and personal service. Furthermore, you will also be supporting the Front Office Manager in developing team members.
What will I be doing:
• Maintain a smooth reception operation through managing and leading the reception team, ensuring that the team deliver exceptional service to our exacting guests
• Ensure that the departmental objectives of maximizing occupancy, maintaining and building on the reputation of the hotel and ensuring that business objectives are accomplished
• Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork
• Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area, and are continuously trained to learn and understand policies and practices
• Assist the Front Office Manager with staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
What are we looking for:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Reception Manager/Guest Relations Manager
• Strong commercial/business awareness and demonstration of sales capabilities
• Calm, organized work ethic with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of corporate & leisure markets whilst confidence in using PMS system are preferable skills.
• Operational experience in Reception, Reservations and Night Auditing.
• Must be standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organise and plan ahead.
• Must have the ability to lead, multi-task, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment.
• Well presented with an outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills and good command of written & spoken English.

Eligibility:

Situated in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, with 228 bedrooms and eleven suites, this period building has been beautifully restored to it’s former glory in a luxurious design to offer the ultimate in relaxation.
The hotel’s food and beverage offers three outlets; an afternoon tea room, a British-French fusion all-day dining brasserie and a parlour style inspired bar serving home-made infused spirits as well as two small private dining suites.
