Job Description

At least 1 -2 years of experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry. We are willing to consider non industry experience candidates with strong selling capabilities. 

Work Experience

Ø Provide reports / analysis for sales as requested by the Revenue Manager.

Ø Ensure that all feedback from guests are reviewed and investigated by Director of Sales & Sales Manager, then follow-up action taken

Ø Assist the Director of Sales in issuing Corporate Agreements and Travel Agents Contract Rates to be issued in a timely manner and approved by DOS and GM prior

Ø Assist the Director of Sales & Sales Manager in completing and submitting “M.I.S. Report” to Accor MIS office, relevant Corporate & Travel Agents production reports, analysis reports on a monthly, quarterly and Yearly basis

Ø Assist in drawing up the marketing plan annually with the Director of Sales by providing market, clients and competitors intelligence

Ø Presents a summary of his/ her visits to the Director of Sales on a weekly basis (Weekly Sales Plan) prior to and after the week is completed     

Ø Prepares a tentative monthly schedule record all sales and other related activities for the preceding month.  

Ø Organize and assist with Hotel Site Inspections and Entertainment when required.

Ø Organize regular client visits in accordance to a predetermined plan.

Ø Assist in the packing of materials when required, e.g. Hotel brochures, sales kits. Etc.

Ø Ensure that the stock of stationery items are accounted for and well maintained

Ø Keep an updated and organized record on former, existing, potential clients through a filing system.

Ø Attend to all incoming sales telephone calls and action accordingly

Ø Ensuring all emails correspondence for the entire sales team (DOS + Sales Mgr.) are replied to within the same day; i.e. answer all sales emails during times of the sales team away on sales calls.

Ø The individual performs his/her duties within the teamwork defined by the group and hotel norms and by internal regulations as specified by the Director of Sales.     

Ø Maintains and ensure the smooth running operation of all his/her accounts within the commercial section in consultation with the Director of Sales on all matters.       

Ø The individual person will be responsible for their coordinating duties as well as administrative functions’. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the hotel sales structure has been re-aligned. The suitable candidate to remain flexible and open minded to be able to multi-task as per business requirements. 

Ø To achieve optimal sales based on defined targets at the best possible conditions for the company and Ensure a well-organized and smooth running sales department   

Ø Apart from promoting the Hotel, he/ she must manage the administrative functions in the Sales Department.

Ø The individual’s mission is to primarily promote the hotel accommodation (Corporate) and F&B event opportunities for the hotel.

Ø This role involves Corporate sales and handling social media marketing for the hotel
