Position:    Engineering Coordinator
Department:    Engineering    
Reports to:    Director of Engineering / Assistant Chief Engineer

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Utilize education and experience to conduct all clerical, project and administrative functions within the engineering department. Provide adminstrative support to engineering management and team leaders.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Perform all administrative duties as assigned.
•    Receive, document, distribute and follow-up all work requests according to SOP.
•    Maintain an effective filing system for all departmental documentation.
•    Prepare daily and weekly timesheets for engineering management approval.
•    Co-ordinate/inform engineering management of any disruptions to service of any kind.
•    Assist with pre-planning and attend daily engineering staff briefing.
•    Assist with purchasing, inventory and issuing of spare parts.
•    Document and issue preventative maintenance work orders.
•    Any additional duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Diploma in Office Management & Administration or appropriate level of experience.
