Job Description

Ready to live the Legend as Sales Intern ?

The Sales and Marketing department consists of a team of 16 persons, who are looking after the overall commercial performance, external communications and closing business deals which are crucial for the hotel. 

As a sales trainee, you will be part of the team to assist the Director of Sales and Marketing and other sales representatives. You have the opportunity to learn about the different vital markets and segments of a five-star luxury hotel, such as leisure, corporate, meetings & events and entertainment market and the marketing strategy within a high-end hotel. 

A number of daily, weekly and monthly tasks will be assigned such as preparing various sales reports and keep the database up to date. Special projects will be assigned in liaison with the Director of Sales and Marketing. Moreover, we organise client events and sales blitzes where you will have a vital role in preparation, think of creating an out-of-the-box program for an event or looking for creative giveaways for our clients. 

In line with Digital Innovation, in case of a school project, questions that could be raised are, how could we improve our after-sales process? What is the impact of LinkedIn in the workplace? How could we share information internally more efficiently within the department or hotel-wide? Should we rather create a blog instead of sending our newsletters to partners with all GDPR related issues?

Work Experience
  • You are passionate about the luxury hotel industry 
  • Looking for an internship of at least 6 months
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English en Dutch
  • Enrolled in a hospitality management study


The Grand offers an internship salary amounting to € 500 gross per month. Moreover, the canteen offers you healthy meals options during our shifts.
