Duties & Responsibilities:
• Produces and ensures production of adequate amounts of mozzarella for the store according to needs analysis performed by senior employees.
• Ensures the traditional methods and recipes are always used.
• Informs front of house personnel of menu changes, specials and shortages.
• Documents, investigates, escalates and resolves all employee and guest incidents.
• To remain calm, composed and in control, even in unusual situations and foster and build a positive working environment.
• To effectively handle guest complaints, compliments, concerns or special requests.
• To ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and taking corrective action.
• To ensure that the kitchen area is cleaned throughout the day.
• To be knowledgeable in the proper use of all equipment and responsible for maintenance of equipment and the recording of any issues.
• To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation by:
a) complying with all statutory regulations
b) ensuring proper food storage and handling techniques are utilised by all the kitchen team members
c) ensuring that grooming standards are kept as per employee handbook
• Additional responsibilities in absence of line manager or senior employee.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned.

• Experience with production of culinary products preferably cheese.
• A passion for food and beverage and the Italian culture.
• Willingness to be flexible and support multiple teams.
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting.
• Ability to work with commercial equipment including stand mixers, ovens, torches, etc.
• Fluent in English.
• Right to work in the UK.
