Main duties:

1. To carry out the sales solicitation strategy developed for all applicable markets.
2. To increase occupancy, average rate and profit of the hotel through planning, guidance, and training Sales Executives.
3. To call on accounts and report directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
4. To increase business/occupancy through establishing and maintaining good relationship with a number of clients, working to meet sales targets.
5. To develop and maintain new business wherever possible from identified market segments and sources of business.
6. To attend trade shows, corporate functions, promotions, etc. representing hotel and First Central Hotel Suites in general to keep a high profile in the marketplace.
7. To distribute corporate directories and other First Central Hotel Suites sales collateral as appropriate.
8. To actively cross-sell all First Central Hotel Suites.
9. To maintain accurate accounts and data sheets on all active accounts; to monitor this data via the system
10. To participate in the sales duty roster as required.
11. To submit a monthly entertainment schedule to Director of Sales, following individual budget guidelines.
12. To entertain key accounts when necessary with prior approval the Director of Marketing/ Director of Sales
13. To attend the daily Business Development briefing.
14. To maintain an efficient corporate and travel account filing system, following company guidelines.
15. To maintain all other hotel records and forms as prescribed by local hotel and management policies.
16. To follow operating standards on the use of the applicable computer system.
17. To identify, report, and respond to market needs and trends.
18. To monitor and analyze competitors sales promotion and activities.
19. To implement an effective sales plan and promotional activities for the department.
20. To constantly refine product knowledge.
22. To respond to any changes in the departmental function as dictated by the industry, company or hotel.

À propos de vous

Sales Manager – Corporate
• Previous experience in hotels (ideally no less than 3 years)
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills to both external and internal stakeholders
• To establish parameter, quotes and to negotiate prices with customers for transient or long stay business in the property
• Previous Dubai experience essential
• High standard of personal grooming
• Good understanding of financials i.e. budgets
• Team player with supportive attitude
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word is mandatory
• Ideally knowledge of Protel but not essential
• Nationality; European, Far East or Arabic Speaking
• UAE driving license
