BASIC PURPOSE: The Group Sales Manager aggressively pursues and evaluates, solicits, sells and confirms business as required to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability. The Group Sales Manager will follow-up on all leads, maintain good relationships and generate leads for the Worldwide Sales Offices and other Four Seasons Hotels. The Group Sales Manager contacts customers in-house to promote good will and foster additional business, repeat bookings or referrals to other Four Seasons Hotels.
We are looking for individuals who have solid selling and interpersonal skills and who demonstrate the energy and commitment to meet and exceed personal goals. The applicant will have a proven track record in pursuing, evaluating, soliciting, selling and confirming business as required in order to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability. Experience in local Houston, International and Diplomatic markets is a plus.
Applicants are required to have three years previous experience in a similar role. A college degree preferably specializing in hotel management or business administration, or equivalent experience is required.
