Responsibilities

The Front Desk Supervisor will oversee areas that include Front Office and Guest Services. This position acts as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior management is not available.  The Front Desk Supervisor oversees Front Desk, Bell, Concierge, and PBX employees.  This position is responsible for training, scheduling, and managing shift operations.  This position is also responsible for resolving customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. This role has direct contact with employees and guest and as such good communication skills are a necessity.  This position does require an applicant with a flexible schedule, able to work morning/ afternoon/ overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Two (2) years of experience within Rooms Division, preferably within a luxury hotel

• College education or equivalent experience

• Previous supervisory experience

• Previous experience with Opera

• Good command of the English language both verbal and written

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
