The CORE department is the heartbeat of the hotel and represents a fast paced, multifaceted department that services the many requests the guest may have while also coordinating the services we provide them. Receiving all inbound calls to the hotel, the CORE agents also take room reservations, spa reservations, and restaurant reservations in addition to room service orders, all in-house housekeeping, back concierge and engineering calls.
There will be specific job responsibilities related to managing the booking of guest room reservations.
The CORE management team focuses on many metrics to measure overall effectiveness including standards testing and secret shopper calls, abandonment statistics as well as conversion rates and call logs. The CORE team needs to be driven to reach sales targets in all areas and be cognoscente and active in setting and achieving various plateaus.
Our ideal candidate will have a College degree and will be Computer literate (Knowledge of Opera/Book4time/HotSOS/Micros an asset). Excellent verbal skills in English and proficiency in another language is helpful. Pleasant telephone voice and manner. Previous experience in Rooms Division or Sales and Marketing Previous reservations, In Room Dining or Spa experience an asset.
We are looking for individuals who are strategic, have strong business acumen, good communication and interpersonal skills and are able to evidence professionalism and adaptability.
Applicants are required to have three to five years previous employment in a related position. Hospitality Education is preferable, however, not essential if applicants have previous relevant work experience.
Occasional travel is required to other Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for training and development purposes.
