The Room Service Supervisor organizes, directs and controls the work of employees in the In Room Dining department. Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through providing exceptional service and attention to guests and colleagues alike.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Assistant Room Service Manager of area in planning, organizing, controlling and directing the work of employees in the department, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise the all orders and deliveries during meal periods to ensure that all standards and sequence of service are met through all the guest interactions.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of food, wines, spirits, cocktails
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to the staff.
  • Observe performance and encourage when necessary.
  • Communicate with guest and employees using a positive and clear speaking voice. Listen to understand requests respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
  • Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations, heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for the staff and other employees.
  • Resolve problem to the satisfaction of involved parties.
  • Give guidance toward improvement and make necessary adjustment for consistency
  • Move throughout the facility and kitchen area (walk through) to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standard are met.


Job Requirements:

  • One to two years’ previous experience as an Outlet Supervisor in Food & Beverage outlet.
  • College education or equivalent experience;
  • Previous employment experience in a similar position with other luxury Hotels will be an added advantage;
  • Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for everything food and beverage
