As Rooms Division Assistant Manager you will be accountable for shaping the client experience by providing exceptional service in support of our world-renowned hotel. In this position you will report to the Hotel Manager.

Work authorization for the location is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Oversees the Front Office operations and acts as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available.  Directs staff that performs the following duties:  welcomes and registers hotel guests, explain the accommodations and establish credit or method of payment.  Checks guest out of the hotel, prepare and explain the bill.  Oversees the guest services department which welcomes and assists our guests by welcoming them and providing luggage assistance and an orientation of the hotel. Provides personalized restaurant and entertainment recommendations based on extensive knowledge of the area. Ability to oversee multiple operational departments in the absence of management presence. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing their needs by adding personal recommendations to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. Comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Front Office duties.



Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be a passionate and motivated leader, with excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • A demonstrated ability to lead a multicultural team is essential, as is solid business acumen and a passion for service.

  • Strong training and supervisory skills are essential in this role.

  • Good written and spoken English skills are essential, as is computer proficiency with MS Excel and Word.

  • Applicants are required to have one to three years’ experience in a supervisory role in Rooms division. 

  • A college degree or diploma preferably specializing in Hotel management or equivalent experience is recommended. 

  • Prior union experience is beneficial.
