The Sales Coordinator - MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Events) will provide support operationally and administratively to the Director of Sales MICE, to assist in the achievement of the department's pre-determined sales targets.
You will be responsible for the research and development of new MICE leads and handling of all MICE enquiries efficiently via fax, email, or telephone. Assisting with sales appointments, functions, events and co-ordination of client entertainment and familiarisation trips, including; invitation design and distribution, teaser campaigns etc. You will, also, prepare for market related exhibitions / trade shows and assist with follow up meetings and dinners post these. Producing targeted mailshots, reports and presentations as appropriate. With responsibility for general clerical and office duties, at the same time you will provide an excellent and consistent level of service to our customers and potential clients.
Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Previous administration experience is essential, with preferably some hotel experience. Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are also a must. As is the ability to maintain stable performance in a pressurised environment. Immaculate grooming, with clearly spoken and good business writing skills is crucial. Other languages would also be advantageous.
