Director of Operations trainee

A Food & Beverage Management Trainee with Hilton Hotels and Resorts is responsible for assisting the Director of Operations in supervising operations of Food & Beverage outlets to deliver an excellent Guest experience while working with the team to ensure departmental targets are met.
A Food & Beverage Management Trainee would be required to communicate and share tasks with the team to ensure departmental targets are achieved. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Working on projects with Revenue, Cost control, Profit and Quality focus
• Assisting F&B management with achieving financial targets
• Participate in the creation and implementation of new products / services within the F&B department (cost calculation, logistics setup, team management, storytelling…)
• Attendance at meetings of decision-making teams
• Participate in training and train teams afterwards
• Establishment of procedures to follow
• Ensuring high customer satisfaction in the F&B Outlets and monitor ratings
• Helping out in the different F&B Outlets (breakfast, bar, banqueting, restaurant)
• Ensuring smooth operations in the different F&B Outlets and take on supervisor shifts when needed
• Communicating, delegating and sharing tasks with the team
• Ensuring compliance of brand standards
• Delivering great customer service and manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Assisting the store keeper with stock control and inventory
• Acting as contact person for suppliers and contractors
• Managing orders and delivery of goods
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

• Previous experience in hotel industry
