Hilton’s Commercial Services organization is comprised of over 5,000 team members driving our sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hilton’s “commercial engine” and are key to Hilton’s ability to drive profitable growth.

What will I be doing?

The Senior Manager, Metasearch will be the business owner for Hilton’s Metasearch program servicing North America. The role of Metasearch has grown in scale and now counts as one Hilton’s largest digital media revenue drivers. You will handle Hilton’s strategic plan for Metasearch (Google HPA, TripAdvisor, Kayak, Trivago, etc.) in order to drive maximum value.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for ongoing analysis and strategic direction. We will depend on you to handle our technology provider dedicated to Metasearch and oversee our publisher relationships, while evaluating new ad units, industry trends, and optimization techniques.   • Build, execute, and analyze strategies and direction for the Metasearch channel via our agency partner.
  • Provide direction to internal partners and agency partners. This includes maintaining a test and learn demeanor to optimization.
  • Apply day-to-day Metasearch strategic approach to ad buying, execution, audience management, and testing.
  • Work with key partners to develop appropriate objectives for the business.
  • Develop effective partnerships with outside vendors, internal constituents, and adjacent departments.
  • Help handle the cross-functional lines and priorities between digital media activities.
  • Implement and maintain systems to ensure compliance with Hilton policies.
  • Assess actual performance against standards to determine whether the campaign is on target to reach its goals and taking corrective actions as vital.
  • Ensure the business plan and goals are being followed and achieved, offering feedback or revising the plan, if needed.
  • Perform budget planning, forecasting, and management. This involves delivering results on-budget.
  • Evaluate new technologies, partners, ad units, and buying techniques for strategic value in driving investment return.


What are we looking for?

The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Consistent track record to direct and set strategy for digital media and optimization activities and to evaluate testing
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of business mathematics, including ability to calculate percentage change, averages and weighted averages; solid understanding of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to understand and manipulate spreadsheets


To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience
  • Three (3) years of direct Metasearch Management within a strong digital media background
  • Knowledge of web and eCommerce applications, conversion metrics, landing page testing and awareness and direct marketing principles
  • Experience working for an agency and/or experience managing an agency
  • Knowledge of Digital Media Platforms
  • Travel up to 20% as the need arises


It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Experience managing Metasearch campaigns with a hospitality company, Online Travel Agency (OTA) or related technology company
  • Experience building and evaluating profitable media programs across a multiple brand portfolio company
  • Experience providing direction to agency partners, including driving strategic direction and feedback when expectations are not met
