The role of the receptionist at Hotel Tresanton is an exciting opportunity to meet new people from every corner of the globe and to join the Tresanton family! This is not an office job (although you will have to do some filing!) you will be guest facing at all times and be responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming and efficient service to all hotel guests, in line with the hotel’s vision and values on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills are key to this role as you will liaise not only with the guests but with all departments of the hotel on a daily basis to ensure that our guests needs are met. Please note that this role does not come with 'live-in' accommodation, we would only be able to provide temporary accommodation to the successful candidate.

You will be joining a family rather than a team at Hotel Tresanton! These passionate individuals all work together to provide the very best in hospitality to our guests. À propos de vous

The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a similar role and be familiar with Hotel Property Management Systems. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively either on the phone, in person and/or through email. An ability to multi-task and priortise your day is a must, as you will be taking internal/external calls, answer reservations emails/enquiries as well as assisting our in-house guests throughout the day. You should be passionate about hospitality and have a genuine desire to make people happy and build lasting relationships on behalf of the hotel with our guests. A good knowledge of the local area and attractions would be preferable but not essential. You must be currently eligible to work in the UK (i.e. British Citizenship, appropriate visas or exemptions from Visas - EU, EEA or Swiss nationals)

My two hotels in the West country are each very different and I love them both. One for its perfect position and views of the Cornish sea, the other for its extraordinary architecture deep in the secluded Devon countryside.

Hotel Endsleigh is a Grade I historic house set in 100 acres of fairytale woodland, follies and grottos created by Humphry Repton. The Duke of Bedford, who owned a third of Devon, chose this spot for his fishing and hunting lodge.

Hidden on the edge of Dartmoor, many of the 19 bedrooms have magnificent views of the gardens, the river Tamar and beyond into Cornwall.

There is no muzak whatsoever at Endsleigh only the birds singing and the bats squeaking.
