To strategically manage a defined cluster of Source Markets (both directly and through a team of Sales Managers) by optimising existing Key accounts, and acquiring new clients, to achieve sales targets. Maintain a thorough understanding of socio-economic and industry factors affecting source markets, including key drivers, risks, threats and opportunities. This role is strategic given the level of information that is managed and the customer relationship that are developed, which are gold for most of our competitors.

Key responsibilities

Head of Sales in Transfer & Activity Bank, is responsible for a cluster of source markets. The role sits within the Sales in Origin Team, reporting to Head of Distribution in T&AB The main objectives of the Regional Head of Sales are: 1. Achievement of sales targets through customer development and new client acquisition 2. Manage, motivate and develop team of Sales Managers, to maximize performance and encourage staff retention 3. Optimizing client accounts by coordinating their own, and accounts managers’ action plans to ensure that monthly results are aligned with overall annual sales results 4. Seek and develop new revenue opportunities through Bedbank, brand new clients and new customer segments. 5. Training of new commercial members of the teams to ensure the proper understanding of the business model itself and their specific role and targets. 6. Strong analytical skills to determine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats 7. Collaborative skills to deal with different areas of the organization 8. Resilience as a leaver to achieve collaboration 9. Full budget responsibility for region: expenses, marketing & other expenditure 10. Preparing and driving forward the TAB strategy for the relevant market.

Candidate profile

Education: • Bachelor Degree or MBA desired Language: • Fluent in English & other languages an advantage dependent on region (e.g. Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese) • Excellent public speaker under large audiences • Salesforce • Leads by example • Analytical mind, result focused and proactive • Have a proven history of sales within the hospitality industry at this level. • Strong supervisory, coaching and project management skills • Proven global expertise and perspective; executive level presence and influence • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills • Fluent in office applications • Ability to travel • Understanding of destinations and source markets • Tech savvy with an understanding of mobility, and new apis connectivity’s
