The Restaurant offers their candidates corporate housing in a shared 2 bedroom apartment with one and a half bath, fully furnished. The resident facility also boasts 4 pools, a tennis court, gym, sauna, and racquetball court if they’d like to pay a $50 membership fee. It is literally a stone’s throw away from the restaurant taking maybe a total of a 2 minute walk. It is also conveniently located to a free shuttle which stops at various points in Emeryville and directly to the Bay Area Rapid Transit system (BART) where they can hop on a 20 minute train ride directly into San Francisco. The only cost to the candidate includes the cost for groceries, otherwise meals on site at the restaurant are included. Arrangements must be communciated and made prior to candidate's arrival.
Candidates will be required to pay a one time fee of $235 should they opt to live in our accommodations. This will be paid to the apartment association and allow them access to all of its facilities The restaurant will provide staff meals at the end of the shift and the trainees are also allowed to have their meals at the restaurant on their days off, with the exception of Mondays when the restaurant is closed. Trainees will begin with 5 days (40 hours) of Floating Paid Time Off (FPTO) and 3 days (24 hours) of Sick Pay. The trainee may use that time off after passing their 90-day introductory period. If they are given a visa extension past the initial year, the trainee will receive another 5 days (40 hours) of Floating Paid Time Off (FPTO) and 3 days (24 hours) of Sick Pay. This may be used immediately after receipt. Any unused FPTO will be paid out at the completion of their employment.
The trainee will need to bring their own suits for this position.
