The Sales Systems Administrator is an individual whose responsibilities include maintaining the sales systems, preparing reports and analysis, as well as providing support to the Director of Sales and Sales team. Highly organized, detail oriented, analytically minded, good oral and written communication skills are of utmost importance. The Sales Systems Administrator has to manage confidential payroll, hotel and associate information, so knowledge of SOX compliance and the ability to monitor private information is a must.

 

The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, a willingness to learn, be proficient in computer systems, have an ability to multitask, be able to solve problems quickly and complete projects in a timely manner. This person will maintain calendars and meeting schedules while also fielding general inquiries for their supervisors. The Sales System Administrator will also assist with client related activities, promptly answer incoming calls, and be willing to assist with special projects. This individual must have professional and effective communication skills with an ability to empathize with others to drive client and guest satisfaction, build brand loyalty and promote the hotel by ensuring the company''s purpose is a driving force behind all day to day decisions.

Qualifications

  • A self-starter who is creative and can take initiative to achieve goals and tasks
  • Engaged team player, focused on individual as well as team goals and results
  • Must be proficient in computer knowledge including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook)
  • Multi-tasking, problem solving and organization skills with an ability to meet deadlines are a must
  • Candidate should possess strong leadership skills and have a desire to grow and promote in the hospitality industry
  • Candidate must have strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Individuals must have an ability to receive direction from multiple individuals while having a knowledge of prioritizing deadlines
  • Must possess exceptional and professional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write and compose complex documents
  • Previous hotel experience and administrative assistant experience preferred
  • College degree with major in hospitality, business, communications, marketing, public relations or other related field preferred
  • Must be able to support Hyatt''s purpose by identifying opportunities to display authentic human care to guests and colleagues so they can be their best
